“The moment the first track “Interferenze” started with the performance of a vibraphone solo, I was blown away by the sound full of life. It was the first time I had heard such a dynamic sound on a vibraphone. The owner of the sound is Vitantonio Gasparro. Born in 1998, he is a young Italian vibraphonist who began his career after being a student of Luigi Morleo (percussion) and Bruno Astesano (drums). This is the first album by a trio with one of the main Italian rhythm sections, Giuseppe Venezia (double bass) and Giovanni Scasciamacchia Fan Page (drums), all focused on original songs and 2 standards. He exudes a buoyant charm in both his performances and compositions.”
