The Lorenzo Bellini Quartet is the result of the collaboration of four young musicians, Lorenzo Bellini (piano), Luca De Toni (electric guitar), Matteo Padoin (double bass) and Andrea Dionisi (drums). They first met within the wall of Berklee College Of Music and they’re now internationally active in the European music scene.
In 2023 the band won the 1st prize at the prestigious Music 4 the Next Generation Contest in Trento, performing Lorenzo’s composition “Source”, which gave the name to their latest European tour (Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany) and to the album.
Their sound is fully immersed in the contemporary jazz scene where the harmonic and rhythmic unpredictability meets the great personality of Lorenzo Bellini highlighted by an unusual sense of melody and a brilliant vision of structures and composition.
